📚 How it works

Onboarding and goal-setting

  • Meet with a Cerulean Labs adviser to discuss your student’s dreams, goals, and what they’re looking for in a mentor.

Mentor matching

  • Match with a mentor that suits the student’s interests and learning style.

  • We guarantee student-mentor fit and can switch mentors from our qualified roster within the first few sessions.

Go forth and achieve

  • The student and mentor will meet regularly as mentors guide students to be life-long learners and high achievers.

  • Progress reports will be sent to the parents after each session.

Passion Exploration

We help students find and pursue their passions. Students explore real-world topics like finance, music composition, and programming to identify their passions. Then, we connect students to real experts in the field.

🧪 Passion Projects: Encouraging innovation and initiative by identifying passions and executing hands-on projects.

🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 Network Building: Connect with near-peers and professionals in fields of interest, opening future doors.

Student Stories: Mark

Mark (12 years old) has been super interested in biology. He tried to seek out resources about how cancer works and how to cure it.

But he was stuck in advancing beyond Youtube explainers, and had no one to help guide him.

We were able to match Mark with a researcher from UCSF (top 5 research med schools in the US), who graduated from Berkeley with a BA in Biology and CS. This was a great match as the mentor was able to broaden Mark’s horizon’s and show him the frontiers of Biology knowledge in Mark’s interest areas (cancer and gene therapies).

  • We cater to students between the ages of 8-18. We believe it is never too early or too late to spark curiosity and encourage a love of learning.

    Our passion-based exploration and academic mentoring programs are suitable for all students.

  • Our team carefully selected through a rigorous process to ensure their expertise and passion for mentoring. They are graduates of top universities and/or work at top companies. We ensure they possess the skills, experience, and dedication necessary to provide exceptional guidance and support to our students.

  • All our sessions are conducted online to ensure we are always accessible to students. We currently have students across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and China.

  • We recommend having students meet their mentors once a week for an hour. However, this can be personalised to the student's needs.

  • We will ensure a perfect mentor-mentee fit by checking in with the student and allowing for changes within the first few sessions.

  • Pricing starts at $95 per week for 1 hour of 1-1 mentoring and 24/7 access for additional questions and help.
